Floydada Rites for Mrs. Crain
Services for Mrs. Annie Crain were held in the First Baptist Church, Floydada, Monday, October 21st, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Floyd Bradley officiating. Burial was in the Floydada Cemetery. Mrs. Crain passed away in the Hamilton General Hospital October 19th.
Mrs. Crain was born in Hamilton County February 11, 1894, the daughter of William Sparks and Addie Horton Sparks. She married John T Hopper, who preceded her in death July 28, 1966. One daughter also preceded her mother in death. On January 3, 1968 she married Edwin Crain. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Crain; one daughter, Mrs. Robert B. Jones of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Grisham of Hamilton and Mrs. Cora [sic] Battey of Hereford; six brothers, A.M. Sparks of Evant, Horton Sparks of Abilene, Autry Sparks of Floydada, Turner Sparks of St. Louis, Mo., Bill Sparks of Flint, Michigan, and Jim Sparks of Austin; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers were Fae Bart, Ron Jones, Henry Willis, and Ted Allen.
