Robert R. Bartholomew Sr., 72, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Edward and Nora (Serfass) Bartholomew. He leaves his wife, Shirley, of 39 years. Robert was an avid fan of Penn State University football.
Survivors: His loving family, wife; a son, Robert R. Bartholomew Jr. of Center Valley; two daughters, Cindy Bartholomew of Allentown and Ginger Carl of Coplay; two brothers; six sisters; two grandchildren, DJ and Jessica Carl.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009 in the Snyder-Hinkle & Lunsford Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends will be received from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday, February 15, in the funeral home and again from 10 a.m. until service time on Monday.
