Joseph L. Wallace 78, a Needham resident for nearly 50 years died on Thursday June 7, 2007 at the Massachusetts Hospital in Boston. Born in Louisa, KY, Mr. Wallace enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1948 and was honorably discharged in 1952 during the Korean War. A Electrical contractor by trade, Mr. Wallace was the owner and operator of the Wallace Electrical Company in Boston for over 40 years. Joseph was the beloved husband of Phyllis (Rago). Loving father of Margaret A. and her husband William G. Sheehan of Norwood, Joseph A. and his wife Julie M. Wallace of Medfield, Elizabeth and her husband Michael J. Pelgro of Needham and Philip and his wife Donna L. Wallace of Winchester. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Monday June 11th at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 Pm. Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Needham Cemetery.
