Mrs. Aida Ethelynn Thomas, 76, of 6329 Pinefield Rd., died Tuesday morning at her home after an illness of six months. She was born in Augusta, Ga., the daughter of the late George and Laura Cain Wooley. She was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and the Mothers' Class, the WCSC and the Ruth Parham Circle of the Church.

Surviving are her husband, Claude F. Thomas; two sons, Robert C. Thomas of Charleston and Bert L. Thomas of Placentia, Calif., and two daughters; Mrs. J. F. Patrick of San Clemente, Calif., and Miss Gladys Thomas of Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Main Street Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. P. G. Curry, Rev. M. D. Moore and Rev. J. W. Johnston. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ed Gladden, Prince Eleazer, W. P. Able, Curtis Sticklin, C. E. Hersey, John J. Colcolough, Floy Jumper and Jack McGill.

Friends may call at the residence and the Talbert Funeral Home. The Methodist Home for the Aged at Orangeburg is suggested to those desiring to send memorials. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
