This is the father of Charlie "Bird" Parker. Research is underway to determine the gravesite for Mr. Parker. He is believed to have died by homicide in the latter 1930s, probably 1939 and probably not in Missouri. There was reportedly a funeral held in Kansas City, Missouri - possibly Kansas City, Kansas - which his widow Addie arranged and his son Charlie attended - but, to date, no obituary and no documentary evidence of that funeral has come to my attention.
