He graduated from high school in 1957, and later graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He worked at the Beanblossom Family Mortuary in the fifties and sixties. Brant later pursued a career as an account manger for business and office equipment, retiring in 2001.
Brant loved fishing, golf (especially his hole-in-one), and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 669, and Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jan (Kinsey) Beanblossom, his sweetheart since the age of 15. Together they celebrated 47 years of marriage in August of 2006. He is greatly loved and will be missed by his three daughters, one son, one sister, one brother-in-law, five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Ernie.
