Bronx - John James McCrosson passed away after a long illness on April 2, 2019. John was the beloved son of the late Margaret and John J. McCrosson. John was a proud veteran of the US Navy and a founding member and past president of the Shamrock Soccer Club of NY. He was also a member of the Irish American Golf Club and a founding member of The Links at Union Vale. John was past treasurer of the County Tipperary Association of New York. He was a retired member of Local 3 IBEW.

John is survived by his devoted brothers Matthew (Joy) of Pleasantville and Thomas (Rosemary) of Bronxville. He also leaves behind seven nieces and nephews as well as twelve grandnieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY on Sunday, April 7th, from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 8th at 9:45 a.m. at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, New York. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
