NASHUA - Karen L. (DuBois) Stanger, 73, a longtime resident of Nashua, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, with her family at her side.

Visiting hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday (December 2, 2016) at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua, N.H. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home

Interment prayers and burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Nashua, N.H.

She was born at Station Hospital/Fort Devens on March 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Stanley and Eleanor DuBois.

Mrs. Stanger was the widow of William Stanger, who died on November 5, 1998.

They shared over 30 years of marriage. She is remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Stanger was known for always helping others with her caring and kind ways. She loved the ocean and her cat, Sheeba. She had a fondness for teaching children and was a humble care giver. Most recently, she had been teaching at Children's World Learning Center School in Nashua. Mrs. Stanger at one time enjoyed playing tennis and was a former member of the Nashua Country Club. She was also a communicant of Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua.

Mrs. Stanger is survived by her sons Michael Stanger, of Nashua and Scott Stanger and his fiancée, Jennifer Cunha, of Nashua; her sister, Gayle DuBois Johnson and her husband, Bill Johnson; her sister-in-law, Mary Muchata; her brother-in-law, Jim Stanger; several nieces and nephews; her numerous friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Suzanne DuBois.
