Eloise 'Dotty' Tinberg

WONDER LAKE – Eloise "Dotty" Tinberg, 77, of Wonder Lake, died Friday, June 18, 2004, at her home in Wonder Lake.

She was born in Plato Center on May 8, 1927, to Edward Clinton and Clara May (Elliott) McCloud. She married Francis P. Yost. After his death, she married Harry Tinberg, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tinberg was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodstock. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and also at the Bethesda Thrift Shop. She was an avid bird lover. She enjoyed sewing and making all kinds of craft items. Mostly she was known as a loving caregiver to her family.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Deborah) Yost of Antioch and Ronald Yost of Darien, Wis.; two daughters, Sharon (LeRoy) Denman of Lindenhurst and Connie (Donald) Olson of Wonder Lake; a brother, Warren McCloud of Wonder Lake; a sister, Helen Koch of Wonder Lake; three grandchildren, Daniel Yost of Crystal Lake; Kristen Matuzsek of Sussex, Wis., and Amy Olson of Wonder Lake; two stepchildren, Warren (Mary) Tinberg of Kentucky, and Vernon (Nancy) Tinberg of Woodstock; and a granddaughter, Margaret Tinberg of Woodstock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and a brother, Harry McCloud.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 21, at the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Woodstock.

Burial will be at Fox Lake Cemetery in Lake Villa Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. John's Lutheran Church, 401 St. John's Road, Woodstock, IL 60098 or to Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010-4196.
