Jeanette T. Klecker, age 84, of Reedsburg, died on Thursday, June 7, 2007, in the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center, following a stroke. Jeanette was born the eighth of 12 children to John J. and Dora Schommer on Oct. 15, 1922, in the Oak Grove Township of Prescott, Wis.

She married the love of her life, Richard L. Klecker, on Feb. 1, 1945. They were blessed with 11 children.

Jeanette and Richard farmed in the Lost Creek area of Pierce County until 1968. Jeanette continued her loving care of family and community, practicing her faith through her church service and volunteer work with the hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
