Rosa F Redding, age 88, of West Palm Beach, passed away on December 9, 1998 at the Manors Nursing Home in Hobe Sound. Rosa was born in Sparks, Georgia and moved to this area in 1938 with her Husband McNeil. She had been a member of the First United Methodist Church Of West Palm Beach for over 50 years. Her Husband, Clifford McNeil Redding was a former teacher at Palm Beach High School and was the former Principal of Jupiter School. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Rosa is survived by her Daughter Rosalyn Redding Gladwin and Son in Law, Skip Gladwin of Jupiter. Also surviving are two Grandsons, Randy Neil Gladwin of Jupiter and Ryan Redding Gladwin of Bogota, Colombia.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 1998 at the Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David McEntire officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the MIZELL-FAVILLE-ZERN-SOUTHDALE CHAPEL, 4101 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405.
(Note: Daughter Rosalyn told me that her daddy always spelled his middle name as McNiel, even though his grandmother's name was McNeil!)
