WILLIAM HENRY CULPEPPER, 73, of Millington, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007. His life was filled with his family, his friends, his neighbors, and the townspeople. While visiting his daughter in Delaware, he was hospitalized at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital due to a long illness. Bill lived in the Millington, Tennessee area for approximately 45 years and was originally from North Carolina. Bill was well respected business owner in real estate and auto repair. He worked for Goodyear and Goodrich for a number of years. He loved to converse with people and served his neighbors, friends, and family well. He had a kind heart. Bill was a friend to all. He is survived by his beloved partner, Mary Brown; his daughter, Wanda Spiering and her husband Charles; his son, Jim Carter; his step-daughter, Cindy Nemec and her husband Brian; his step-son, Jimmy and his wife, Dana; his granddaughters, Rose Williams, Marcia Dowell, Cheri Coughlin, Kristen Teaff, Kendra Lawler, Kendall House; and grandsons, Keith Lawler and Thomas Poole. He also had seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. in Reece's Chapel Baptist Church followed by a burial in Chadwick Family Cemetery located in Mill Creek, North Carolina. A memorial gathering will be held from 2-4 p.m., June 24, at 3582 Oakhurst Ave. for friends in Millington, TN. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on 6/8/2007)
