Judith E. Johnson, 61 of 219 S. Hazel in Agency, died at 6:12 p.m. November 8, 2015 at home.
She was born February 20, 1954 in Ottumwa, IA to Melvin J. and Dorothy Jean Hinkel Barnett. She Married Jerry Johnson on April 29, 1973.
A 1972 graduate of Cardinal High School, and of Indian Hills School of Nursing , Judy was a registed nurse at Ottumwa Regional Health Center for 38 years.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation and T.O.P.S. Judy enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchild(ren.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Johnson of Agency; a son Jacob (Sara) Johnson of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Timothy, Bailey, Ava and Finley; two brothers Daryl ( Nancy) Barnett and Russell Barnett both of Ottumwa; two sisters, Jane ( John) Yochum of Batavia and Leanna (Paul) Simpson of Holton KS; sister-in-law, Diana Barnett of Ottumwa and an aunt, Annabelle Robertson of Otttumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Daphne; and a brother Steven Barnett.
Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Visitation with Father James Betzen CPPS presiding. Burial will be in the Agency Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas TX 75244
