Bumpy, also known as “Whitey” was born on April 19, 2005 in Chicago, Illinois. Bumpy was a female American pitbull terrier mix, that was brought up in a dog fighting community that mostly specialized in pit bull fighting. Bumpy was rescued from the dog fighting community at the age of 4 months old. She was put up for adoption for one month before she was adopted by a family in the Chicago suburbs. Bumpy would live with the family for the next 11 years before passing away from cancer, on November 7, 2016.
