Age 81, passed away Sunday morning, the 11th of May, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center of congestive heart failure.
He is preceded in death by parents, J. Carlton Loser, Sr. and Pearl Dean Loser; and sister, Dorothy Dean Storey.
Loser is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mildred "Millie" Nichols Loser; son, Joseph "Chip" Loser III; sister, Margy Ann Gass; and extended family, Becky Bilbrey (Jeff), M. Lee Gregory (Barbara) and Lynn McDonald (Gary).
He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, American Legion Post 5, Royal Order of Jesters Court #92, John B Garrett Lodge, AL Menah Temple and Richland Country Club. He was an honorary 33rd degree mason. He enjoyed golfing and his winter home in Ft. Myers, FL.
Services will be held on Wednesday, the 14th of May 2014 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at two-thirty in the afternoon, with Elder Ottis Jones officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from five o'clock until eight o'clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home; and again on Wednesday beginning at one o'clock up until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nashville School of Law.
Honorary Pallbearers include: John McBee, Ralph Gordon, Fred Dettwiller, Duane Tabor, P.V. Jackson, Charles "Chuck" Rhoda, Fred Stetemeyier, Jack Zager, Joe Lackey, staff and faculty at the Nashville School of Law, and the Board of Trustees.
