Susan, was a daughter of Lewis and Mary (Cole) Shipp. 1st wife of Ephriam Barton Bryan.
She died in child birth or shortly there after, while having son Norris Bryan, of which the baby did not live either..
Susan's parents lived in Dellrose Community not far from Swan Creek. The Shipp's, her Grandparents were Daniel and Sarah who came to Lincoln Co. before County hood, from Virginia, when it was Bedford County, and had lands around the Elk River.

It is thought many of the Pioneer Shipp's are buried in Farrar/Shipp Cemetery, not many stones left. Most marble stones only lasted 100 years. Then became so brittle they could break off easily, even a cow bumping them or erosion natural disaster...
After 50 years family cemeteries are not required to be maintained by the owners of said lands. Its my belief that many are gone as a result of just this premise.
Susan's Maternal Grandparents
The Coles, Stephen and Elizabeth (Conger), had lands down south around Mary's Grove. Two cemeteries mentioned as Cole but unknown which they are buried in, no stones naming them.
Again it is known that one of the cemeteries was cleared by owners and made a horse ranch.
I think its to bad that no one moved the stones or recorded the information but par for this world and its people.

Daffodils adorn her grave today on the hill behind the Hovis home north of Coldwater on Bryan's Hollow-Bryans-Hovis or Hovis Bend Road all one in the same different times.........
