Jerry Wayne Stidham, 79, of Garland, Texas, but previously a lifelong resident of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, with his daughter by his side. Jerry was born on June 23, 1939, to Luna Myra Dupree-Stidham and Joshua Woodward Stidham in Hamilton, Alabama. 
Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Jerri Lynn Hice; granddaughters Morgan and Sidney Austin; two great-grandsons; one brother, Gary Stidham; and a host of other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luna and Joshua Stidham; and three brothers, Louis Stidham, Bob Stidham and Larry Stidham.
Jerry was an Army Veteran, tree topper, and truck driver with a gypsy soul. He was a quiet man of few words. He loved reading Lois Lamour novels, Star Trek and working in his garden. His infectious smile would light up a room.
A private memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at 1:00 P.M., in Reflections at Rest Haven – Rockwall location. He will return to his final resting place in Hamilton, Alabama on Stidham circle. Date and time will be passed on by family and friends.
