Jenn was an amazing person. She was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Texas. She was one of a kind and I will love and miss her forever. Rest In Peace, my sister.

Jennifer Marie (Roderick) Krause passed away peacefully at her home on February 17, 2019 at the age of 45.

People who knew Jennifer knew that she was filled with kindness. She never had a bad word or thought about anyone. She loved her 4 children more than anything and chose to be a stay at home mom for most of their lives. She and her husband John were high school sweethearts. After Jennifer met John, she rarely left his side! John had never traveled outside of Texas before he met Jennifer and when Jennifer was ready to travel far and wide to places such as Mexico, the Caribbean and even Alaska, John was right by her side.

Jennifer loved to read, especially mystery novels but could not pass over a good romance novel as well. She also loved getting her nails done, going to the movies with her kids and just laughing and goofing with her entire family.

Jennifer is proceeded in death by her daughter Daphne Faye Krause, her brother-in-law Kurtis Krause and numerous maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by so many friends and family that loved and adored her – her faithful husband John Krause, children Dustin Krause and fiancé Brytni Wahl, Merysia (Krause) & son-in-law Aaron Purvis, and Kelli Krause as well as her grandchildren Konnor Krause and Jackson Purvis. She is also survived by her grandmother Annabel Chadwick, parents Bryce & Val Roderick and Joan and Charles Hubbard, her sister Al (Allison Roderick) & husband Craig White, and step-sisters Amie Riemann, Abie Clark and Ashley Burns. Other survivors include her in-laws Douglas & Kathryn Krause, grandmother-in-law Betty Jahnsen, and her birth mother Trish Trumpp & husband Michael, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who all loved her immensely.

Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 22, 2019 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30AM Saturday February 23, 2019 at Lone Oak Cemetery in Geronimo, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, The Krause family respectfully requests donations to help offset funeral costs.
