LONGVIEW - Jesse Wayne Brown, 44, passed away February 8, 2019 in Longview, MS. Jesse loved his family. He was very active doing the things he liked to do. He loved to pull ponies and ride horses. He was a Christian and a member of Longview Baptist Church. He served in the Army National Guard and served in Iraq for a year, 2004-2005.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 2PM at Longview Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Falkner and Bro. Floyd Fitzgerald and Bro. Joey Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Longview Baptist Church Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors: his mother-Joy Brown Odle(Jerry) of Pontotoc; his finance and mother of his child on the way-Jessica Shortnacy of Longview; three sisters-Mary Betts of Pontotoc, Jessica Brown(Jason) of Center Hill and Christy Putt(Adam) of Pontotoc; three brothers-Jon Brown(Mona) of Sherman, Jaye Brown(Robin) of Kentucky and Doug Odle(Christina) of Jonesville, Virginia; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his Daddy-Larry Brown; his grandparents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers: Douglas Adams, Ross Brown, Travis Pound, Jamie Kincade, Ricky Smith and Eddie Johnson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 5-8PM at the church and Thursday, February 14, 1PM until service time at the church.
