Services for Dodd Family Last rites for Ralph and Helen Dodd and their four months old son, Kenneth, who lost their lives in Monday night's tornado, were held at Mt. Zion Church of God Wednesday at 2 pm Mr. Dodd, 22, was the son of Mrs. Essie Clanton of Rt. 2, Altoona and the late Harvey Dodd. He was an employee of Robbins Coal Company. He was killed instantly when his home was blown away and his body was found on the bank of nearby Whippoorwill Creek. Mrs. Dodd, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Wright of Rt 2 Altoona, was 18 years of age. Her body, which was not found until Tuesday morning, was taken from a tree top in the creek. the baby's body was recovered Tuesday afternoon from the same stream 3 and one-half miles away by Henry Fountain. The Dodd home was on Rt. 2 Altoona, near the Susan Moore Community. Surviving Mr. Dodd besides his mother ar three brothers, harold Ray and A. J. Dodd of Rt. 2 Altoona, and James Dodd of Gadsden; one sister, Mrs. Mary King, Rt 4 Oneonta. Besides her parents, Mrs. Dodd is survived by five brothers, Billy Wright, of Hendricks, Jerry, Eldon, James and Timmy Wright of Rt 2 Altoona; one sister Brenta Wright, Rt 2 Altoona.
