First born Daughter of Ephraim Barton and Susan Cordelia (Shipp) Bryan. She was born in the first E.B. Bryan log cabin north of Coldwater Township. This place was sold to the Hovis family around 1880, and Mr. Billy Hovis lives on the land today.

Cordelia married Mathew R. Wright in Lincoln Co. in 1872 and raised their 8 children near Millville, TN.
Childrens names were Emmitt Lee- buried at Shiloh Cem. Delrose, TN, Earl Barton Sr. buried at Fairview Cem-Tuttle, OK, Charlie

Cordelia and Matt Wright both contracted consumption now known as Tuberculosis. Most of the children were close to adulthood but those who were not were cared for by other relatives and or the elder siblings until such a time that they could be on their own. Several left TN and came west to TX and NM, but most ended up in Oklahoma in various places the rest of their days.
