Kathy Jo Socash, of Oklahoma City, passed away January 13, 2019, at the age of 46. She was born in Philipsburg, PA, on June 27, 1972 to Leonard and Linda (Hynd) Socash. Kathy has spent her life in service to others as a Personal Assistant to those with Home Health care. Kathy loved children and ran a daycare out of her home in order to take care of her nieces, nephews and children of friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Linda Lee, and brother “Little Lenny”. She is survived by her two daughters: Kyleigh and Karena; and grandchildren: William and Alaina; her long-time partner: Gene Morton; parents: Lenny and Liz; her siblings and their spouses: Jody and Rhonda, Lori and Mark, Ronnie and Lorie, Teresa, Brian and family, Scottie, Tracey and family and Lorraine; nieces and nephews: Jessica, Jenna, Linda, Jody, Dani, Justin, Shane, Vince, D’Anthony, Ashley, Anthony, Aireal, Aonolizza, and Frankie; and great nieces and nephews: Ira, Alexia, Violet, Mia, Sydney, and Jarrett. Kathy’s service will be held Saturday, January 19th at 11:00 AM at Smith and Turner Mortuary in Yukon, OK.
