Mrs. Elnora Ensey was born December 7, 1861, and died June 5, 1928, aged 66 years and 6 months. She resided in Menlo for the past 46 years, coming to Menlo with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Snow in 1882. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years, where she was a faithful member and an earnest worker in the church, up to the time of her illness, which preceded her death. The chief mourners were her mother, Mrs. E. Snow, brothers, Harry and Earl Snow; sons, Richard, Earl and Ansel Ensey; daughter, Hallie Ensey; Mrs. Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wright and Benson Snow, cousins. The funeral service was conducted at the Presbyterian church by Rev. Samuel Waring, pastor, assisted by Rev. C. F. Hand, pastor of the Methodist church. A quartet composed of Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Grace Parkison, Mr. Frank Taylor and Chris. Wildman, sang the following favorite hymns: "Going Down the Valley," "Rock of Ages," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", accompanied by Miss Evelyn Cox at the piano. The pall bearers were: Stuart Reed, Frank Rigdon, Charles Evitt, William Dietrich, Forrest McPherson Charles Mills. A large number of friends from over the state attended the funeral. The body was laid to rest at Rose Hill cemetery.
