Margaret (Bond) (Compton) Jensen was born on June 7, 1879 in Texas, the daughter of John Bond and Margaret (Grennan) Bond.

She married 1st to Claude Compton (1871–1926), the son of William Compton (1833–1913) and Laura Mary (Drake) Compton (1849–1924). She was married 2nd to George W Jensen (ca 1881– ).

Living on Neeleys Bend Road in Madison, Davidson County, Tennessee, Margaret was 67 years old and married when she died of "Extensive salmony Gland Carcinoma" on March 24, 1947 at Madison Sanitarium & Hospital, where she had been for eight weeks.

Survivors included her husband George W Jensen in Madison, Tennessee, daughters Mrs Lemuel Lee "Lem" Tolley of Lynchburg, Tennessee and Miss Martha Compton of Los Angeles, California, sons Frank Milton Compton at Madison and Gerald Bond "Jerry" Compton in Greensboro, Maryland, sister Mrs Sophia Curtis of San Antonio, Texas, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held on March 25th, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
