Rosa was united in marriage to William E. Roberts on June 11, 1911. The first year of their marriage, the young couple spent in Wyoming. In 1912 they returned to the Roberts homestead East of Gordon and that continued to be their home until January of 1963, then they moved to their new home in Gordon. In June 1961, Bill and "Tena", as she was known, were privileged to celebrate 50 years of wedded life, their golden wedding anniversary.
