Mark Andrew Alaksiewicz, 48, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. He was born June 13, 1970 to Francis and Carolyn (Louis) Alaksiewicz in Peoria, IL. He is survived by his mother, three brothers Matthew Alaksiewicz, John Alaksiewicz, and Michael Alaksiewicz; and one Aunt Margaret Louis. He was preceded in death by his father, brother David Alaksiewicz, grandparents, and Aunt Angela Louis. He was in Sales for Multi-Ad Quickie Systems. He was an outstanding athlete at Bergan High School and Viterbo College, and he loved the outdoors. Cremations rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria, IL. Visitation will be an hour prior to service at the church. Father Paul Joseph Langevin will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mark’s name to St. Jude Runs.
