Graveside Services for John "Johnny" Thomas Hoosier will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the Church of the Little Flower Cemetery in Evergreen with Fr. Bartholomew Ibe officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.
Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 12 noon - 12:45 p.m.
Mr. Hoosier, age 82, of Bridge City, TX, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at his residence. He was an LSU graduate and was a retired employee of Sun Oil Company.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Townsend Hoosier of Bridge City, TX; three daughters, Mary Townsend of Orangefield, TX, Elizabeth Bloodworth of Bridge City, TX and Gloria Cole of Bridge City, TX; two sons, John L. Hoosier of Lake Charles and Wallace Hoosier of Bridge City, TX; one sister, Ida Elizabeth Maze of Liberty, TX and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
