He was born in Los Angeles, California to Leola Mae Olsen and Hyrum William Loutensock Jr. He was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served a mission in Ontario, Canada. While serving he met his beloved wife. He served in many callings in the church from Bishop to Young Mens President. He had a special talent and love for serving the youth. He had an unwavering testimony of Jesus Christ and the atonement. Last year he read the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, New Testament and most of the Old Testament. He was a great example to many.
His greatest interest was music, from opera to the Beatles. He was a trained soloist and had the opportunity to tour Europe with his choir group. He was a great defender of the constitution and loved the freedom it provides us. He loved to go fishing with his sons and grandkids. He played many sports while in his youth and later in life he enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. He was an Eagle Scout and an avid scouter.
The last 2 years of his life, he had the opportunity to serve as an ordinance worker in the LDS temple with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 4 sisters, and brother.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, children David (Lisa), Shawn (Katie), Eric (Terra), Joseph (Tiffany), and Jennifer (Devon) Greer. As well as 18 grandchildren; Adrienne DuCharme, Kendra, Madison, Kiersten, Skyler, Jaden, Brendan, Parker, Bailey, Spencer, Alisha Capps, Connor, McKenna Greer, Dallas, Jayson Greer, Aurora, Felicity and Carson Greer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12th 2018 at 11am at the Brookfield LDS chapel. 755 Woelfel Rd Brookfield, WI. Viewing will be prior to the funeral, beginning at 10am. Graveside dedication will be held at the Prairie Home Cemetery. 605 South Prairie Ave Waukesha, WI.
