Douglas W. Allen, 74, of 1934 Leader Road, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospice in Rochester. At Mr. Allen's request, there will be no services. Contributions may be made to Life Time Care, 1120 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513. Douglas was born in Spafford, NY and spent most of his life in the Syracuse area before moving to the Finger Lakes region. Retired from Onondaga County where he was a boiler operator in Syracuse. He was a school bus operator for Jamesville-DeWitt School system for over 23 years. A member of the Spafford Historical Society. Survived by his wife, Anna M. Robenoldt Allen; seven children, Gary Allen, Jordan, Diana Cormack, Skaneateles, Debra Christopher, Florida, Keith Allen, Skaneateles, Judy Turner, Camillus, Donna May Cumber, Syracuse and Ericka Harp of Camillus; his mother, Eva Allen of Homer; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St., Seneca Falls is in charge of arrangements.
