Son of Matheus Aersen and Maritje Van Dyke.


Baptized on 15 March 1710 at Reformed Dutch Church, New York City, New York, sponsors Jan Ewoutse, Davidt Aartse, Johanna Koely.


He was named in his father's will dated on 15 September 1714.

Will was dated on 15 September 1714; proved 30 Apr 1716. Matthew Harrison, of Brookland in Kings County, at a place called the Ferry, being of perfect mind. To wife Mary, my whole estate of houses and land during her life, then to my six children, Jean, Cornelius, Matthew, Henry, Elizabeth and Adriantie. Except that my eldest son John shall have a seal ring of gold with £3 for his birthright. I make my brother, David Harrison, and my friend Samuel Gerritsen, executors. Wit.: J. Newbury, Johanes Sebrigh, Simson La Fay.
