William J. Adante

William J. Adante, passed away on December 6, 2018. William was born in Akron, Ohio on February 10, 1936 to Peter T. and Michelina (Johns) Adante. He served in the United States Navy for five years. on the USS Coral Sea. He retired from BF Goodrich. He was was commander of American Legion Post 19 for three years.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary (Robert) Werner; and brother, Richard (Gloria) Adante. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Norma (Reese) Adante; children, Joan (David) Pfaff, Deborah (Walter) Miller, Christine (Nicolas) Bacon, Daniel Henley, Christine (Robert) Bauman, Jennifer Henley; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 at 11 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, where friends may call 1 hr. prior to service. Interment at Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to St. Hilary's Foundation, General Fund or American Legion Post 19.
