Ms. Sandra Ann “Sandy” Adcock, age 58 of Bryson City, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

She was born in Cartersville, Georgia,  December 10, 1959, daughter of Ernest Bradford Adcock and the late Betty Ann Ingram Adcock. She was of the Baptist faith. A lover of the great outdoors, she enjoyed working the last 36 years for the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Sandy enjoyed life and helping  animals, especially her kitty, Boo. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her father and his wife; a brother; 2 step brothers;  several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services were held Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. A memorial service was held at Nantahala Outdoor Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Sandy’s favorite pet animal shelter,  PAWS at PO Box 1814, Bryson City, NC 28713 or online at www.pawsbrysoncity.org.
