Hugh "Darrel" Yoder, beloved husband of Gloria Yoder of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 90. Besides his loving wife Gloria, Darrel is survived by children, Pamela, Debbie, David, Daniel and Darrelynn; fifteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Darrel was a man of many countries. He was born and raised in Santa Ana, California and has made his home in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Germany and Canada. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Darrel was a retired piping designer and worked for the Fluor Corporation for 35 years. He was blessed to have worked with his wife Gloria at Wycliffe Bible translators for 15 years both in Canada and in Southern California. What Darrel valued most in life was his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He served Him by teaching and preaching His word, singing his praises and giving to His work! He was a Christian for 66 years!
