Anna M. Partusch (nee Goettke), born December 12th, 1923, loving wife of the late Harry A (Hap), treasured mother of Nancy (Tom) Huber and Carol Higgins. Doting Grandmother of Erik (Katrina) and Mark Huber, Kassy (Jason) Bargo and Matt Higgins. Mother-in-law of Gary Higgins. Great Grandmother of Mason and Maddi. Preceded in death by son-in-law Tom Huber, her parents Ben and Clara Goettke, her sisters Mary Jolley, Katherine Schultz, Laura Cordier and her beloved brother, John, who was killed in WWII. Passed away October 31st, 2018 at the age of 94. Anna is survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends all of whom held a special place in her heart. We would like to thank the staff at Eastgate Carespring for their loving care of Anna-Banana these past four years, even on the occasions when the anti-Anna-Banana reared her less than loving head. Our thanks also go out to the special nurses from Crossroads Hospice who are nothing less than Angels on earth. Mom lived her entire life for that one moment in time. She’s gone on to reap the Heavenly rewards of which she is most definitely deserving. How can we be sad? In lieu of flowers, we’d much rather have donations made to the Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation to help give the gift of sight to deserving people, the Tom Huber Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides play to pay financial assistance for high school students, as well as Crossroads Hospice so that other families can be assisted through the end of life chapter. Visitation is on Monday, November 5th from 9 to 10 am at St. Saviour (4136 Myrtle Ave 45236), followed by Mass at 10:00 am.
