"1967 Seabee of Year Dies"
Allen James Gohner, 27, cited Navy SeaBee of the Year in 1967, was found dead in Reno, Nev., Thursday evening.
He was born Dec. 21, 1940 at Billings to Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Gohner, 609 N. 16th St., and was graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1959.
Survivors include his parents, one brother Gary of Hayward, Calif., two sisters, Colleen and Kathy, both at home; and his maternal grandfather, Jacod Diede.
Smiths Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral services for P.1.C. Allen James Gohner, 27, a yeoman in the U.S. Navy, were held at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Vern L. Klingman officiated.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Mike Cates, Wilbur King, Dennis Jacobs, Jim Jacobs, Bill Dove and Roy Dedman.
Yeoman Gohner dies Thursday at Wadsworth, Nev. Survivors include his parents, a brother, two sisters and his maternal grandfather.
Smith's Funeral Home was in charge.
