Services for Chad Marvin Taylor, 26, Lee's Summit, Mo., will be about 2 p.m. Saturday at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Eudora Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in Lee's Summit, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Sept. 1, 1979, in Lawrence, the son of Larry and Janet Burkhardt Taylor. He graduated from Eudora High School in 1998.
Mr. Taylor was a sales manager in the Prototype Division of R&D Tool and Engineering in Lee's Summit. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Eudora and attended Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Union Local 533 in Kansas City, Mo.
He married Victoria Drienik on April 10, 2006, on the Island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his parents, Eudora; a sister, Tiffany Bishop; and his paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Taylor, Eudora.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to about 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The family suggests memorials to the Cancer Unit at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, Eudora 66025.
