Catherine A. Anderson (née Donovan), age 84, of Wheaton, IL, formerly of Calumet Park and Palos Heights, IL, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at St. Patrick's Residence, Naperville, IL. She was born April 7, 1921 in Chicago, IL. She is survived by two sons, Judge Robert J. (Irene Bahr) Anderson of Wheaton and Shelly (Pam) Anderson of Naperville; four grandchildren, Kerri, Robby, Sean and Erin; a brother, William (Doris) Donovan of Elmhurst, IL. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Anderson; granddaughter, Jenni Linn Anderson; her parents, Michael and Catherine (née Reilly) Donovan; brother, Joseph Donovan and sister, Mary Doherty. Catherine was a graduate of Mercy High School, Chicago and a former member at Seven Holy Founders Parish, Calumet Park and St. Alexander Parish, Palos Heights. Visitation Friday, Dec. 2, 4:00-8:00pm at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL. Services will begin Saturday, Dec. 3, 9:15am from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville. Family and Friends will meet Saturday, 12:00 noon at the Chapel in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JAJ Scholarship, c/o Waubonsie Valley High School, attn: Karen Guerrero, 2590 Ogden Ave., Aurora, IL 60504. This scholarship was established in memory of Catherine's beloved granddaughter, the late Jenni Linn Anderson.
