Homer A. Proulx
dies after illness

Homer A. Proulx,68, of Canoga Road, Auburn, died Friday in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Tupper Lake, he had been an operating engineer in the construction business for many years. Surviving are three sons, LeRoy R. Proulx of Pattersonville, Louis R. Proulx of Auburn, and Roger H. Proulx of Cortland: three sisters. Miss Dorothy Proulx and Miss Joan Proulx of Tupper Lake, and Miss Lucille Proulx of- New York City; four brothers. Raymond Proulx and Roland Proulx of Tupper Lake, and Randolph Proulx and Robert Proulx of Philadelphia; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South 'St. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga. Friends may call at the funeral

Dies at Auburn

Funeral services were held at the Brew Funeral Home in Auburn Monday for Homer A. Proulx, 68, of Canoga Road, R.D. 5, Auburn, formerly of Tupper Lake, who died Friday in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Rev. Msgr. James D. Cuffney, pastor of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Auburn, officiated at the 11 a. m. service. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery at Cayuga. He was born at Tupper Lake June 21, 1905, the son of Ephrem and Clarlna LaFave Proulx, and attended the local schools. He was employed as an operating engineer in construction work, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and of the Plattsburgh Masonic Lodge and Troy Consistory, Oriental Temple, A.A.0.N.M.S. Surviving are three sons, Leroy R, Proulx of Pattersonville. Louis R., of Auburn and Roger H. Proulx of Corland; three sisters, Miss Dorothy Proulx and Mrs. Joan Peppino, Tupper Lake, and Mrs. Lucille Brady of New York City; four brothers: Raymond and Rolland Proulx, Tupper.Lake, and
Randolph and Robert Proulx of Philadelphia, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
