Services for Bryce Eugene Olsen, 6, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lawrence. Burial will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

Bryce died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, in Lawrence. He was struck by a mini-van on his way to school.

He was born Sept. 4, 1999, in Cedar City, Utah, the son of Bret C. and Kimberly A. Petefish Olsen.

He was a kindergarten student at Prairie Park School and was involved in the primary class at the church.

Survivors include his parents, Lawrence; two brothers, Brady and Blane, of the home; paternal grandmother, June Curtis Olsen, San Diego; and maternal grandparents, Daryl and Marcella Petefish, Berryton.

The family will meet with teachers and students from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to the Bryce E. Olsen Memorial Fund at Douglas County Bank, sent in care of the mortuary.
