Actress. She was well known to both Japanese film and television viewers from her many roles during a career that spanned six decades. Born Keiko Nakatani, she began acting in a theater troupe in the early 1960s under the name of Yuki Chiho. Her first "big screen" role came in the 1966 film "Zoku Yoidore hakase" and she later appeared in such films as "Tora-san, His Tender Love" (1970), "Hometown" (1983), "Lonely Heart" (1985), "Returner" (2002), "Tokyo Tower: Mom and Me, and Sometimes Dad" (2008), "Still Walking" (2008), "Sweet Bean" (2015), "After the Storm" (2016), and "Shoplifters" (2018). She made her television debut in 1975 on the series "Akuma no youna aitsu". Her later television credits would include "The Detective Story," "Shadow Warriors," "Kimi no na wa," "Kimi no na wa," and "Aoi tokugawa sandai." She was honored for her acting work in various films with numerous awards through the years. She passed away after a battle with cancer.
