Pearson and Son Funeral Home, was a member and Senior Warden at St. James' Episcopal Church, past President of the Executive Club of Louisville and the Falls City Funeral Directors Association, a member of the Rotary Club of St. Matthews and past President of the Old Middletown Rotary Club. He was a graduate of Eastern High School, The University of Kentucky where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Mid America College of Funeral Service. Courtney was an avid cyclist and enjoyed his friends in the Gourmet Club. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Jennifer; daughter, Abbey; son, Luke; parents, David and Penny Pearson; brothers Kent Pearson (Lynn) and Glen Pearson (Patti); mother-in-law, Stephanie Miller; father-in-law, John Tobin; sisters-in-law, Shannon Fauver and Harper Jean Tobin; and grandparents, Billie Pearson and Scott and Ann Miller.
