Seaborn S. LeSueur enlisted Sept. 9, 1861, Private, Co. G, 27th Regiment, Georgia Infantry in Alexander's Rifles during the War Between the States of the C.S.A. He was 23 years of age when he enlisted.

Pension records show second finger on left hand was shot off at Cold Harbor, Richmond, VA on June 03, 1864. Hearing and sight practically destroyed by small pox.
