He was laid to rest on Sept 3, 2018 with a military Honor Guard Ceremony at Witts Springs Cemetery, in Searcy County, AR. He served four years in the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict 1963-67. He was a resident of Witts Springs and a very active member of the Marshall Seventh Day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Melody, four children, Paula, Pamela, Philip and Nicholas, two step children, Marland and Merrick Schmehl, Christie Hailey, two sisters Anita Rodden and Deborah Arnold.
