Marjorie Ann Wildgen 1915 - 2006

Services for Marjorie Ann Wildgen, 90, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery in Hoisington.

Mrs. Wildgen died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community in Lawrence.

She was born July 6, 1915, in Greeley, the daughter of Chris and Mariee Rees Wustefeld. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in music from Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison.

Mrs. Wildgen taught at Greeley High School and St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Hoisington. She retired in 1988.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington and Lawrence.

She married Henry C. Wildgen on Jan. 17, 1945, in Greeley. He died in 1970.

Survivors include four sons, Mike Wildgen, Lawrence, Maurice Wildgen, Rockville, Md., Paul Wildgen, Overland Park, and Patrick Wildgen, Baltimore, Md.; a sister, LoRees Wallman, Minnetonka, Minn.; and grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 6:45 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, after which the family will receive friends.

The family suggests memorials to St. John Campus Library/Technology Fund or Benedictine College Endowment Fund in Atchison, sent in care of the mortuary.
