Glenn B Hammett, age 65, of West Milford, New Jersey, passed away August 28, 2018. He was born on December 18, 1952 in Paterson, New Jersey and lived in Ringwood, New Jersey before moving to West Milford 42 years ago. He as a lifetime member of Deborah Heart and Lung, veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the American Legion.
Glenn was the owner/operator of G. Hammett and Son Trucking for the past 33 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roxanne, of 44 years. Loving father of Michael Hammett and his wife Lauren, and daughter, Michelle Hammett Gratson and her husband Bryan. He is also survived by his brothers; Jack Hammett and his wife, Anne, and Kenneth Hammett.
Glenn was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren; Jordan, Madeline, Jake and Ella.
Visiting will be held Tueday, September 4, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM with a 7:30PM service at the D'Agostino Funeral Home 881 Ringwood Avenue, Haskell, NJ, 07420. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 and/or Disabled American Veterans.
