Steven Ray Aasen, age 11, of Wheeler passed away on Friday, May 4, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident in Barron County.

Steven was born Oct. 3, 1995, in Menomonie to Brian Aasen and Tammie Feldman. He was raised in Wheeler and was attending fifth grade at Tiffany Elementary School in Boyceville. Steven also belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville.

He loved monkeys and putting model cars together. Steven had a great love for farming and enjoyed helping his grandpa on the farm. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his father, Brian (Ranae) Aasen, of Wheeler; a brother, Terry Aasen, of Wheeler; grandparents Lois Aasen of Ridgeland and Carrol (Sharon) Wyss of Boyceville; great-grandparents, Alfred and Anna Hoff of Wheeler; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammie Feldman; a sister, Champagne Feldman; a brother, Masen Feldman; grandparents Terry V. Aasen, Debra Feldman and William Feldman Sr., and Steven's friend Derrick Roberts.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville with Pastor Brad Peterson officiating. Family and friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie and at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday.
