Maxine Farley Maynard Doan, wife of Dennis Merle Doan for 32 years, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, after braving a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Hardy KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Fern Smith Farley, whom she was the caretaker for until she passed. She lived in Romeo, MI before moving to Lexington, KY where she worked for The Lexington Clinic, Commonwealth Urology and Dr. Borders and Borders which spanned for 30 years. Other then her husband survivors include, 8 children, Nadine (Randy) Sanders, John (Cathy) Maynard, Wes (Pam) Maynard, Steve (Jennifer) Maynard, David (Maggie) Maynard, Lisa (Mark) Allen, Genet (Danny) Pirtle-Gray and Elan Doan; 14 grandchildren, Laura, Stephen, Jalyn, Jake, Josh, Roxanne, Chase, Trent, Hunter, Donte, Anthony, Vito, Angie and Alex; 7 great grandchildren, Lexi, Calob, Oscar, Nigel, Jackson, Braelynn and Amelia; 2 sisters; Mary Yates and Phyllis Killala; 4 brothers, Jack, Burl, Stirl and Ray Farley; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved. Other then her parents she was preceded in death by, 4 brothers, Bobby, Cletius, Pat and Cecil Farley and a grandson, Brandon Maynard. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.
