Judith A. (Boog) Fiebelkorn, age 77, of Carver, MN, formerly of Hector and No. St. Paul, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2018, surrounded by her family, at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN. Blessed be her memory.
Celebration of Life service will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 11:00 AM with visitation 10 – 11 AM all at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. 3rd St., Chaska, with Pastor Mike Eder officiating. The casketbearers will be Marcus Boog, Ryan Boog, Andy Brunn, Mark Melberg, Ryan Grimm, and Michael Reck. The burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Mahtomedi, MN.
Judy was born on April 26, 1941 to parents William and Ann (Kline) Boog. She was baptized and confirmed in her faith at Heights Baptist Church. She attended grade school and high school at North St. Paul and graduated in 1959. She continued her education at Minnesota State University Mankato and graduated in May of 1964 with a degree in Elementary Education. She pursued her Master’s Degree later on and obtained her Master’s in Special Education. Judy was united in married to Lowell Grimm in December of 1965. From this union they were blessed with three sons Michael, David and Jonathan. They raised their family in Hector, Minnesota where Judy was a Charter Member in the Hector Lioness and an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Judy had a passion and love for education and children. She taught in Foley, Olivia and Norwood during her 36 year career. On June 1, 1986 she was united in marriage to Walter Fiebelkorn. They resided in Carver, Minnesota. Throughout the years they enjoyed traveling, fishing, boating, and most of all collecting antiques. They enjoyed being active members of the Chaska American Legion Judy enjoyed being an active member of her community. She donated several hours every month to the Chaska Lodge and the Blessed Bee. She enjoyed being with her friends traveling, playing bridge, attending plays, concerts, shopping, bird watching and feeding the orioles. Her biggest love was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed watching their school events, volunteering in their classrooms, carpooling, baking, crafts and taking them places. She was always up for an adventure.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, parents, William and Ann Boog, granddaughter Elizabeth Grace Grimm.
Survivors include her children, Michael (Rochelle) Grimm of Hector, David Grimm of Hector, Jonathan Grimm of Jordan; grandchildren, Michael (Emily) Reck, Michelle (Mark) Melberg, Ryan Grimm, Rachel Grimm, Laura Grimm and Kassi Loftness; great grandchildren, Morgan Reck, Madden and Myles Melberg; brothers Jerry Boog of Little Canada and Jim (Barbra) Boog of Newport, RI; one niece, three nephews and seven great nieces and six great nephews.Age 77, of Carver, formerly Hector and No. St. Paul. Preceded in death by husband, Walter.
