LUTHER, Charlotte F. (Monroe), 93, of Oak Street, West Warwick, Port Orange Florida and formerly of Hope, RI, passed away, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at The Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center, Daytona Beach, FL.
She was the wife of the late George H. Luther. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William F. and Louise (Wilson) Monroe.
Mrs. Luther was a receptionist in the Emergency Room at Kent Hospital for several years before retiring and was an active member of the West Warwick Emblem Club # 454.
She leaves two daughters, Charlene F. Picard and her husband Norman of North Woodstock, NH and Daytona Beach, FL and Karen L. Deus-Timmons and her husband John Timmons of Port Orange, FL; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Lowell, Dorothy Anderson and Lillian Cushing and a great grandmother of the late Coty Lee Hensley.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10 am from the HENAULT - GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy Street, West Warwick. A service will be held at 11:00 am in The Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry. Interment will follow in the Lawton Cemetery, Betty Pond Rd., Cranston. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 pm.
