HITE Markle, Jan. 7 –Mrs. Merle Hite, 50, wife of Perry Hite of Markle, died late last night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Indiana Biehl of Huntington, a few miles after becoming ill in the business district there. Surviving are the husband; four sons, Joe, Wendell, Ivan and Ennis Hite at home; two daughters, Mrs. Miriam Bardsley of Warren and Mrs. Evan Beghtel of New Haven; four grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Hughes of Fort Wayne and John Hughes of Roanoke; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Ella Smith of Fort Wayne, Clara Hughes and Mrs. Biehl of Huntington and Mrs. Francis Ulmer of Bluffton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Markle Methodist Church of which she was a member with Rev. H. W. Mohler officiating. Burial will be in Markle Cemetery.
